Bascially what the title says.
Since I handed my resignation, I was made to come to the main office in NY at my own expense just to be ignored while I ve been seating right next to them, have my resignation letter forwarded to other employees (it got shown to me by another employee who came to me) and all my attempts to have a formal plan and discussion have been ignored. No plan, nothing ….
I had the pleasure to learn who I d have to train on my very specific position (I m the only person int the company doing my job for the Americas office) this friday by a colleague coming to me saying he s been told I ll train him next week …
I think the worst was having people overseas in other departments than mine come to me and ask me about my resignation less than 24h after I handed my resignation ….
I did cover my bases and contacted peopleyself to organise some form of transition with them but I ve never experienced something that childlish and wasted so much time and money it s not funny anymore.
What d guys do in a case loke that ? Did you go all scorched earth or played it cool ?
