Does anyone have an interesting study on correlations between cost of living (outside of rent and real estate) and increases in price of rent and real estate?

I might be wording this wrong, so please forgive me if I am. I’m trying to find a study about the increase in cost of goods and services (groceries, mechanic shops, etc), and increased cost of rent for spaces and general real estate (renting or buying kiosk spaces, store fronts, houses, business complexes, agricultural property, undeveloped land, etc).
