I went through 3 interviews over the last month and finally got a offer. My start date was last Monday. Several days before my start date my mom went into septic shock and had to have her leg amputated. My start date was pushed back to today. Well I was staying with my mom several hours away from my home and I was exposed to Covid.
My job is very strict with Covid so what happened next shocked me. They told me not to come in. I’m not even sure if I have Covid, but I am positive I was around 4 people who do have it.
I let them know if it immediately this weekend, but was given the message to just not come in and that they’re disappointed I wasted their time.
