He told me after the fact. “I used your name and email to get a quote from a competitor” i told him he should have asked and that i would have said no and asked why he didnt just make a fake account? He replied with haha ok.
I have a pretty decent relationship with him. For the most part i consider him a good friend, bUt he struggles withe the boss friend balance cuz the company has like 7 employees. It took me a couple years but we get health, mental and dental (he pays 50% every month) after me pushing for it and he helps pay into an IRA which none of those things are common in this industry. So i am grateful for that cuz he does care.
That being said that shit rubbed me the wrong way and just wanted to vent about it. I guess its not that big of a deal but it feels like he crossed a line a bit.
