When I see I am scheduled from 7:15 AM to 9:15 PM I explain I'm not physically capable of working that many hours straight due to degenerative disc and sciatic nerve pain. We are literally not allowed to sit down at all during our shifts and 10-11 hours is my limit. I said I would work 6 days and only have 1 day off and that was no good. I was told I need to “start pulling my weight”…… Excuse me I am the only one you have left! Not only that I have been recognized and awarded a bonus that is given once every 4 months in a 12 store district to someone that consistently goes above and beyond their job duties.
Corporate is supposed to be in tomorrow. Apparently since I can't pull my own weight it's probably better for me to not be there to mess things up.
