Am I being taken advantage of? What recourse do I have?

I’m a salaried employee in Louisiana. A greedy project manager at my place of employment is attempting to get me to work 13 straight days (10-12 hour shifts). On our time sheets we’re only allowed to put down 40 hours a week. No overtime no exceptions. So we’re basically working for free on the weekends and the company is reaping profit. I manage projects as well, and I give my coworkers the time they spent over 40 hours off the following week and they can bill to the project directly to make up for time spent over 40. Our job can be unpredictable, sometimes we have to work long hours or weeks. But this project is meticulously scheduled, high budget, and predictable so there’s no reason we should have to take numerous losses to employee time. I asked the PM why weren’t getting compensated for all the extra time and…
