So I’ve been working at my company (I won’t disclose the name for obvious reasons) for 7 years. We have a “new hire” that made a data entry mistake that cost the company more than $275k I’m the only person who currently knows. I trained this guy and he caught his own error, the problem is when the bosses find out he’ll be fired. Do I take the hit, take responsibility, and walk away from this job or let him be fired? To complicate things he has a 2 month old child and there is almost no chance he finds another job paying this well. I have a side hustle that is making me more than I make at my day job I’m just anxious about quitting. TIA
