The recent thread about Homer Simpson and Al Bundy got me thinking…how much does a family of 4-5 people need to live comfortably today? I realize there are a million variables but let's exclude outliers like NYC, LA, Miami etc and small towns where a double wide is $60k but the only job is at waffle House or dollar general.
