How do I negotiate with employer when written job offer misclassified me as an independent contractor?

Basically the title. I’ve interviewed for several positions with the job title I just got offered, and at the other organizations this would be employee work. Which is why I was so taken aback when I saw “independent contractor” on my job offer, especially when the fact that I would be a contractor was not mentioned in the interview. The job is paid set hourly by the organization I would work for, I would always be providing services within the facility, and it’s shift work. I also believe there would be specific instructions for how to perform my job duties by the employer. I have also spent time researching my state labor laws and… yeah I’m very confident they’re misclassifying me. So now the hurdle is trying to figure out how to broach this subject in a way that doesn’t result in retaliation. Any tips on how to discuss/negotiate this…
