I had a previous role with another company that was fully in office. Boss would never let us work from home so after months of searching I landed a new gig. 3 days at home a week. Little farther away and being near DC my commute can be anywhere from 20 minutes to once a hour and 20 mins. I’m glad I was able to find a job where the employer is at least in the 21st century with regards to working. Only downside is I come into the office and rarely if ever see anyone due to to the office layout and scheduling. Not a complaint just odd to come in and see less people than at home almost. By and far a great move so far, more money and benefits. When I told my previous boss about leaving I wasn’t even given a counter offer after 5 years. Just figured I’d share there is hope out there!
