Hey folks. Long time reader, first time poster. I am currently transitioning careers from teaching to UX/UI design. I had an interview with a company based in Belgium (I live in the US, Philly) and the hourly pay they mentioned was between $4-6/hour. This seems super off to me, it seems like similar UX/UI contract positions in the USA are more like $40 and hour…. Am I missing something? The career change has been really hard so I’m feeling discouraged about this. Thanks so much for your advice!
