A futurist from 1922, W.L. George, makes some very accurate predictions about 2022. However, he was incorrect about the state of labor in the US. He predicted communal housing and less work overall for people, as well as more unions and better working conditions.
He also anticipated that women would become more independent with their careers, but optimistically assumed that this would be because someone else would look after the children. The reality is that men and women are often forced into both working to make ends meet, while still being full time parents.
