I was at the store and overheard someone talking about making $28hr doing a factory job that I know is far less technical than my current job. I make $20/HR with 9 yrs at my company. I'm happy for the person but can't help but feel angry at the disparity of wages between similar jobs. I'm an aircraft machinist and somehow make $8/HR less than someone making pvc pipe fittings on an extrusion die.
