We live in a world where we leave behind golden calfs to worship. We surrender our autonomy to the manifested ideas in our mind – the idol – and we gather those that start off in this world with less than us, toss them into the house of this idols, and create a forced dependency between laborer and idol.
It is important to remember, if you create an idol, you are being assigned laborers and it’s YOUR responsibility to be empathetic with them. YOUR responsibility to ensure your idol is squeezing the life out of them for the idol to survive.
Your company is not a human, but YOU are. And you to remember that.
