anyone have more insight into China’s gold backed currency?

So I heard the Chinese currency has officially surpassed the American dollar (Petro dollar?) Which to my understanding means the world is looking to China to fit the bill. Im not an economist by any means but want to know more about how this effects the federal reserve / bailouts and if our inflation crisis has to do with that.
