Just for a little lol, whenever my incredibly overpaid peers starts talking about their assets “oh we’re spending the long weekend on the boat, going to insert coastal island holiday destination” I’ve started telling them about my busy weekend “diversifying my assets, because my clients needs are constantly changing and I need to keep ahead of trends, I mean… theme parks don’t build themselves” and once their pikachu face recovers, I show them my iPad with roller coaster tycoon, and explain that it’s fun being able to coplay a rich person, while I sit at home and eat ramen… my manager thinks it’s hilarious and is slowly bringing to their attention the wage disparity 🤷️
