Just a small rant, today is apparently 'employee appreciation day' in the US and management decides to thank us for our hard work with a poem. I like the companies I work for, for the most part and maybe I'm being sensitive (I definitely don't have it as bad as most people in this sub) but this really pissed me off. I feel so insulted, my division has worked miracles the last 2 years under increasing pressure, if they wanted to thank us they should pay us more. I can only imagine the BS other companies are going to pull today. Rant over
