Story from my sister. Unemployed guy in Corporate role

So the story was told to me by my sister. Many years ago she worked in a corporate role in one of the largest telecommunications companies in the country. Often restructures would see thousands of redundancies and cut backs. So she was working in a section and this dude showed up for work, sat in an empty cubicle, well dressed corporate attire and started engaging with people in the team. He started doing work, reviewing documents etc. He had some excuse for his IT issues, which no one really batted an eyelid. Because it was generally bad anyway. So a month later they actually figured out the guy was an unemployed walk-in. Thing was, people in his team actually valued his input and contributions to the projects they were working on.
