My company “awarded” me a 5% merit increase last week. I pushed back, citing my concerns about my value and inflation. I asked for 15%.
During my 1v1 with my manager today, he extended an updated increase of 10%. I would have accepted 7-8%. What a nice way to start off my Monday!
Keep pushing back, everyone! My company still has it's issues, but I'll overlook those issues today lol.
