Did I actually got discriminated or not?

I wanted to post this story of mine that I am unable to tell if this is part of discrimination against me. First of all, I am deaf. I applied to a local warehouse position, good pay, good benefits, plus it's in the union, which is a plus. It was in January 2022. I have over 8 years of warehouse work experience. I have a friend reference, who worked in that same warehouse, he has 3 years of employment in there, good credibility. I put him on my resume and mentioned in the interview. Once applied, they contacted me for interview. I asked them to set up ASL interpreter, to which they have no problem with filling it in for me. On that interview day, they had ASL interpreter there for me. The interview went smoothly. The recruiter wanted to test my skills. I passed the test with flying colors,…

I passed the test with flying colors, without mistakes. The recruiters were highly impressed and profusely insisted me to check my email after the interview.

Few days passed by. I get no email or a call from them, at all. I called them, asking what's the update and I was fully committed to get into the updates since the recruiter was in a good impression, so I don't want to lose their interest in me. I call them every other days, and they tell me that I need to wait but they told me the calls are recorded so they know how I wanted the job so bad. Two weeks pass by, still no answer or email. I see my application status is being processed, knowing that part of stage process, is the last process of being hired. I was lowkey excited. So I waited several days, but only to turn my day upside down to receive “Thank you for applying, unfortunately we have selected another candidate.”

I was flabbergasted. They had a good interest in me, I passed the test, to the which they commented that I was the first person to actually pass all of the segments of the test, and I was overqualified for the position.
Few months pass by, I decided to apply again in May. I got the interview again. Did the whole process again with ASL interpreter, no issues. Did the test again, passed all of it again. The recruiter was impressed on how I was able to memorize the segments of doing the job correctly and accurately. Then the recruiter said that they'd have no issues of having me since they have technology that can accommodate me for the job, 100%. Profusely told me to check my email, ASL interpreter told me he had a high hopes for me.

Few days passed by, no email or calls. I called few times, only told to be wait for the process.
Got the rejection email again. Frustrated, I called the manager directly but only to reach his answer machine, so I left a message for him. I politely asked him why I was not heard back from them for weeks despite I was calling and why I was not “qualified” for the position. Despite the position was open for many months and always has been like that. I never got a call back from the manager.

So, I do not know if I actually got discriminated because of my deafness or is it something else I did wrong?
