All of the salaried workers were given a week of furlough due to the company not achieving the financial targets. We were required to take a certification prior to our week off saying we'd turn off all company devices and do zero work. We had to certify again after the week off that we did zero work.
I found out my boss ignored this and worked during their unpaid furlough week. What a freaking joke. Way to ignore your family, ignore HR, and lick the company butthole.
