So, here's the post I made earlier and most people advised me to go against the subcontracting and go ahead with the salary option, but my employer is insisting to go ahead with subcontracting as they cant increase my pay that much without going with that option, now i need some solid reasons i can give them so they'll leave me alone with the subcon thing and just pay me the full amount via salary Earlier post : ” I (canadian) work as a traffic control dispatcher (from home) in a fairly new traffic control company. Earlier post : ” I (canadian) work as a traffic control dispatcher (from home) in a fairly new traffic control company. My job is contacting clients, making schedules and sending out dispatches to employees, manage it, basically id on everything in the dispatch department and I'm the only one doing dispatch in the company, we have around 30-50 people working everyday, I was getting payed 4500 a month and I told my employer that I'm burning myself out for the amount of stress I'm taking on, basically i can get a call anytime, I don't usually but late night and early morning sick calls ins are a usual everyday and I'm supposed to answer them obviously and make adjustments so i asked him to bump up pay to 6k and after a couple days he reached out and proposed that they can do the pay increase, which I'm very grateful for but because I quote what he said, “its not industry standard for a dispatcher to be making that much, so we'll subcontract you for that extra 1500$ and adjust my deductions etc in a way that you're paid that much amount”. I'm no expert but doesn't sound right, surely 6000 is not a ridiculous amount of a money to justify my pay, i need some solid advice and how i can convince them to pay me the entire amount as my salary, and not this subcontractor stuff and why would they be doing this in the first place”

please give me some solid reasons that i give them without sounding like a liar or an ungrateful asshole
