I went from worrying about finding a job to worrying about which job offer to take. Within 3 days! At better pay than the job I just abruptly quit!
And mind you, I have no specialized skills/experience. I'm just a detail-oriented, passionate, independent worker who is currently having a hypomanic episode so I probably seem an more confident in interviews than I actually am.
Also mind you, I have a history of abruptly quitting every job I've ever had without a 2 week notice. I mean the time I spent at each is over a year, but still.
I knew the job market was desperate but notthis desperate.
I've been getting application requests for jobs that I have little to no experience in. And yes they're reall jobs, not scams. I mean, jobs that usually require you to have an associate degree and a year or 2 experience.
You want to get experience in another field? Well nows the time to do it. The doors are open, baby. Come on through.
And on your way out, make sure to tell your manager about themselves. Respectfully. They may never admit aloud that you're right.. maybe not even to themselves.. but when they're alone in their head, doubting themselves, your words will echo in their head. Ik mine will.
