This is from an outsider looking in, but, most functioning democracies have more than 2 parties. The American two party system makes it extremely easy to manipulate and control the public without actually accomplishing anything. Biden has been a weak ineffective president and ultimately doesn’t represent the working class, not to mention he’s kept none of his promises. How’s that $2000 dollar cheque, student loan forgiveness and 15 dollar minimum wage feel? But he’ll still run in the next election, and people will vote for him. Running a non-bias working class oriented candidate would help the United States so much, and this sub is one of the tools that could be used to start that. There are almost 2 million people on here fed up with things. If a real political movement got going you can count on me donating, because it would show the world, if America can fight for the working class so can we. The political establishment in America is extremely shaky right now, more than it looks, no one is really passionate about their leaders. There is nothing stoping Americans from running 3rd party candidates, how about asking someone like Jon Stewart for example, anyone with a track record of really fighting for working class people and crowdfunding an election online. A 3rd party candidate likely wouldn’t win, but if the movement got serious traction your damn right it would shake the political establishment too the core. It would hold leaders feet to the fire and show them that their jobs are on the line.
Tldr: while stories of shitty bosses are great, this sub should be used as a tool to crowdsource political change and fix serious issues, starting in America.
