I’m 18 and In high school and I work a part time job at a fast food place. I make only $10.20. I have been working at this place for 2 years now and I was started off at $9.00 an hour. Recently they have been hiring people starting at $13 an hour and I got mad and talked to my general manager, he agreed and said he would try to get me to at least $11 or $12 however, it’s been about a month and nothing has changed. I talked to some coworkers about it and they suggested I could quit and get rehired and they would probably offer me a higher wage.
