Me and a friend were talking about how minimum wage for our area barely covers our rent and he said we should have minimum wage tied to average 1 bed room rent for the area. Like 40 hours at minimum wage would pay double or like 2.5 the average rent. How well do you think that would work if it was somehow passed?
