Last week I had to drive across town for a required covid test. They required me to clock out for this, and burn my own gas for it. Lost an hour total for this. Yes, I was exposed as my live in gf tested positive, but the day she tested positive I also took the test, and followed cdc guidelines after the fact. Then a week later (I notified them the day of) they required another test in the middle of the workday and told me I had to clock out for it. I’m of the opinion if it’s required, and during the workday I should get paid for it accordingly.
