My parent has 30 something years of experience in their field of expertise but no degree. Nobody is hiring them or even calling back despite everyone supposedly hiring “all positions”. Why would this be? My theory is that they dont even look at the application because of the lack of a degree (an algorithm automatically removes it) but idk if that happens
