Applied for a big resort/entertainment park on Indeed for Christmas season. Said park had ads all over for Halloween too, so I was surprised how they had more mass hiring again. I was invited for an interview but I didn't schedule an interview spot yet.
Yesterday I received a phone call from a recruiter asking me when I can come for an interview. Sounded very polite and in need for people so I decided to schedule one for today.
My interview was on 10am. Upon my arrival there were other 20 people like a job fair. I signed in, took a seat and was waiting. My interview was supposed to be 15 minutes long and I was still waiting. After half an hour, I went to the front desk and asked them when am I gonna be called in. They told me I only had two people ahead of me. Then another half an hour passed by. They were calling names that came after me. I went to the front desk and told them to cancel the interview, how personalized it sounded on the phone but didn't expect me they wanted me in line for a job fair. And apparently the recruiters seem to call everybody. The guy next to me told me he got a call 10 minutes ago and rushed.
