Reading in the toilet at work

I like reading. I don’t like working. So I’ve implemented this personal work policy: reading in the toilet at work. About two or three times a day I’ll go to the bathroom and whip out my Kindle and do some reading for 10-15 minutes. If I have to actually take a dump, I’ll schedule it to maximize efficiency. I try not to push this to far so no one notices, or if they do they just think I have a tiny bladder or intestinal problems. Why do I do this? It’s only fair. Work already takes enough of my time, enough of my short life. I make it my personal mission to take back as much as I can. Life is a battle for time. We have to work to survive, and I don’t think there’s much of an alternative. But I’ll be dammed if I just go gently into that good night. I’ll take back what I can, minute by minute.
