Overheard some of the hiring managers talking about an a question from an candidate on their zoom interview. They asked “do you own your own home” to the person that would be their direct supervisor, when she said no, they kept going up then chain asking if that person did. What they were trying to get at was, at what level would they have to work to that they afford their own home. This line of question really shook the hiring managers and made them question their worth too. And that's how a random candidate in have never met became the hero I needed in my life.
