I've been applying to jobs like crazy ever since moving to a new city/state. This is the second job out of the many I've applied to that has asked for an interview.
My initial pre screen interview was at 12:30pm today, and I really nailed the interview and he invited me to a second phone interview with a manager at the company. They scheduled it for 2:30 on the same day (today). Seeing as I had nothing else to do today I waited. 2:30 rolls around and nothing. 3:00 and I'm still waiting. At this point I'm hungry so I fix myself lunch. I get bored of staring at my phone so I hop onto my Xbox to play a video game. My fiancé got home at 4 pm and I realized they never called me. I start to complain to him about never hearing back from them and then my phone begins to ring and I recognized the number. I was so mad at this point, and felt it so unprofessional that I sent them straight to voicemail.
They're a marketing company and they made a terrible impression on me. Not to mention, the first interviewer was 20 minutes late to the FIRST interview. How annoying! Once I understand, especially 20 minutes. But a whole HOUR AND A HALF?? What a joke. Idc if I'm unemployed at the moment and need a job. This just says bad management all over it and I can't be bothered with a company that doesn't value peoples time.
People don't want to work? No, we do, we just don't ignore red flags for the sake of pennies.
