I was sticking it out in my current job despite the managerial nonsense and stress – it’s a stable position, there are definitely positives I enjoy each day, and I plan to go back to school soon.
But today, asking questions to solve a problem, I was told “you are so irritating.” For clarifying the situation so I could understand and then come up with a solution.
Time to send my resume out far and wide. I can handle the general inefficiencies and frustrations that come with a small business/team, but if you want to insult me I’m calling it. I’ll dispense with my passions for something less aligned with my values if it means I get paid more AND respected more. Bye.
