I think we the people can all agree on a few things as far as being an employee for someone else.
If a company/employer is hiring for a job, that job must provide these basics:
– a living wage for the area the job is located in
– sick leave and vacation time, including a 10 day paid Covid recovery period.
– standard company matched benefits package including healthcare(eye and dental), 401k(that transfers with the employee), and transportation and travel expenses to and from work.
This isn’t an extensive or exhaustive list and assumes the keeping of the already established common sense rights of employees.
We the People deserve better. We could have a Dept of Energy that easily provides 100% renewable energy to the entire populous. The Dept of Education could actually educate and foster education by separating sports from education from “higher learning” universities. Dept of Olympics could provide sporting opportunities to all nationwide and everyone could be ranked. Dept of Farming could provide the populous a well balanced diet, where restaurants would serve farm to table meals instead of processed fast foods
We could eliminate the hedge funds, and corporate interests to focus on the betterment of the world and the people. Let’s keep the military strong, but let’s make the military industrial complex, actually a part of the military. Remove the contacts and only host competitions. Such as “build the best rifle” and colt, Remington, and Sig compete for a $1 billion dollar prize for the rights to produce that rifle unlimited in the military armories, while the winner remains allowed to sell a civilian version. Instead of boing building f18s on contract, the military could just built it themselves through in house production instead of the current corrupted system. So much common sense could be applied to make America uncomplicated.
