Does your work pay you for the repeated hour of Daylight Savings Time?

I work 24 hour shifts as a Firefighter/Paramedic. This weekend DST falls on my shift causing me to work 25 hrs instead of my normal 24. My employer does not pay me for this extra hour and used the case that they pay 24 hrs on the other end of DST. However I work a rotating schedule 2 days a week and did not work the 23 hr day earlier in the year. What does your employer do?
