So I recently got my very first job (fast food). My sister tested positive for covid two days ago. I started feeling sick today, so I called my boss. What do I get told? That if I call off, I will get taken off the schedule. He said I need to come there, in person, for my shift tomorrow and let my manager decide if I’m sick enough. Is this common?? Like I said It’s my first job and I figured this would be the best place for answers. I’m also angry right now because I can’t even walk without almost puking.
