Want to a paid break from work this Tuesday, Nov 8th? Go vote. Your employer has to pay you. Per Minnesota's Secretary of State:
You have a right to take time off work to vote without losing your pay, personal leave, or vacation time.
Your employer must pay you for the time you need to vote, if it falls within your scheduled work time. Your employer cannot require you to use personal leave or vacation time

So tell your boss you're going to go vote. You can register to vote when you get to your polling place (https://pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us/), and then take a nice thoughtful time casting a ballot. Nice little break.
