Obviously, a good amount of people work to live, but we don't often talk about those who live to work. I don't understand the mentality at all. I despise working. I love freetime. Yet there are people who are the opposite.
People who are legitimately depressed and bored when they don't have to work. I just don't get it. It's not even just people with good jobs. I've known people who worked the worst jobs ever, and they are happy to just be working. I've known people who can very well get out of having to work, who go on to get part-time jobs because they are bored.
I really don't understand it. If I was given the opportunity to not have to work anymore, I would take it in a heartbeat.
