her speech was on “quiet quitting” and i even gave her peer feedback (required) saying that she was blaming employees instead of their bosses for overworking them. i tried to word it nicely but the whole speech came across as so condescending.
she kept saying how the solution to burnout was communicating with your boss, and im sitting there like girl… do u think we just… don’t ever speak to our bosses?
the issue isn’t us not asking for raises or time off, it’s the fact that we ask and our bosses REFUSE. we communicate w our bosses, but they just don’t LISTEN.
the whole time i was listening to the speech, i was thinking “you’ve never had a job in your life” because it was that bad.
