Karma is a bitch, Corey.

I am not one to brag, but I am genuinely so happy what’s happened over the last few months after being wrongfully fired at my job of two years. So the quick backstory, I held a position that supervised multiple offices. My supervisor was in charge of supervising the entire plant. Instead of doing his actual job, he would constantly be seen waiting in his car for different employees to leave to go to lunch off property because he decided to implement a policy where you couldn’t go get lunch off site. This on top of other weird stalking behavior around the site. Finally, I called him out on it.

Emailed him and the other supervisor to explain the weird stalking that he was doing and that it showed that he obviously wasn’t able to get his tasks done if he was sitting in his car spying on employees (it was a government contractor so you can’t work remotely, the connection is secured on site so he can’t work in the car). 30 minutes later I’m called to the security office to turn in my badge and that I’m suspended for “failure to get to work on time” and that HR would call me for the investigation. Of course, HR calls, I explain I haven’t been late and showed that I was suspended just one hour after sending that email. Two days later, I’m called to be informed I was fired for being late. Absolutely ridiculous.

Five months later, I’m doing well at my new company and just got a raise that will see I make $20k more than when I was with my old employer. Not to mention a friend of mine still works there and he said my offices have been giving my old supervisor hell because they don’t like the new supervisor.

TL;DR: Poor little Corey decided to fire me for calling him out for being weird and stalking, and now I’m making more than him and his stress is higher than ever. Fuck you, Corey.
