Boss trying to end my WFH and get me back into the office. Please help!

My boss is hell bent on ending my WFH by the end of this quarter. I have IBS and crohns disease – all documented and signed by my doctor. They still want me to come in starting Q1 – I want to make them regret it. They cited a recent business trip I attended as reasoning to get me into the office. Except, I didn't have a choice in attending. My boss informed me I would be travelling with the team, so I went. They're also trying to say my position was not created remotely, which is true.

I was hired in October 2020. Only issue with this is we have two people in my same department that work remotely simply because they moved to another state during the pandemic. Their positions were also not created to be remote, but the company adapted.

The problem with this reasoning is I have been working remotely since 2020 without issue. I provided documentation on my medical conditions which they accepted and informed me they would move me to a permanently remote position, but reneged on that idea. All I have in writing from my boss is an email saying there was “no issue in me working remotely from another location.”

Please help. I'd appreciate some feedback and ideas on how to skirt this requirement of returning to the office. I actually like my job and don't want to leave, but I'm not going back to the office after 2 years of working remotely.
