Another job that I used to like and now I’m just waiting until I can get out

I work in laundry at a nursing home. I have been there for 7 months, enjoying my job and working graveyard shift so I can basically just do laundry, run stuff to closets and listen to music. It was the first job I actually enjoyed and it didn’t stress me out going in everyday, I didn’t love it by any means cause I’d rather work on my tattoo portfolio (aspiring tattoo artist looking for apprenticeship) but it gets me money and gives me something to do. A few days ago I was yelled at for drawing during my downtime, which I admit I should just do that on my breaks, but with it being overnight shifts it’s usually pretty slow and I had nothing to do at the time because I was waiting for cycles to wash and dry. And people listen to music or watch videos all the time…

My manager appreciated my work and everything the whole time she’s been here, she was hired after I was. Though she had said some things about other coworkers to me, gossiping to put it blunt, about their performances and such.
So I know she is definitely saying the same stuff about me, considering that usually happens with people who gossip a lot to other people.

Until she yelled at me and now is acting entirely different than she did before, work just feels different. I still enjoy the job, and my coworkers are nice to me and so are the residents. But my manager reminded me that I’m just another person here and if I make one mistake then I’m just as replaceable. I’ve had some kind of experience like this with every job, so it just kinda hit a nerve that every job for me has been the same experience.

I’m excited to just get my apprenticeship and do what I actually enjoy doing.

Idk if this makes sense to anyone but have this rant I guess lol
