Company taking away annual shop closure

So, I work at a company; big in our industry but relatively small outside our market. Like, if you're in the industry, you'd know us as one of the big names, but if you're not, you wouldn't even know what we do. Anyway, old man sold the shop last year to an investment group and retired. Good for him. He made this company this large over 60 years, he deserves it. No beef there. Anyway, 3 weeks before Thanksgiving and a month before Christmas, these rich fucks decide that we're going to be open the day after Thanksgiving. We're all saying we have plans and that they can't just take away benefits with such short notice, but they pretty much told us to get fucked. Plus, the whole industry is closed those days anyway, so what's the fucking point other than to break out spirits or to get us to leave (we're well paid for what we do, these rich assholes probably want to get rid of us and hire people who don't know shit so they can pay them less).

Anyway, since this is California I doubt I have any recourse (yay USA), but needed to vent.
