They said that because there is a current cost of living crisis they are cutting our hours so they can afford to keep the store open. I was a part timer anyway, on about 25 hours a week. Now I'm being given 10.. this will not pay my bills!
I'm going to apply for a new job because they even said don't ask for more hours or stay late as you won't get paid for it.
My boss, however, gets to keep his 40 hours! But the rest of us are being kept on or below 20 hours. I don't know why, but I have been given the least amount of hours too.
