worked at this restaurant a little over 2 months (overstayed the probation period). shift leader and me had a converrsation next day i was told to stay home. following week i got a text fom the employer letting me know to not come to the scheduled days. i obliged. but now he is asking me to ''sign a contract'' to basically leave the job. i don't understand why doesn't he just fire me. is there smth like a severence package he needs to deliver if he fires me? country: netherlands
