Can an employer fire you and refuse to tell you why or provide you with any information/documentation? State of Arkansas, it’s a right to work state, so I’m told they don’t have to have a reason to fire you, but then I’m told they do have to tell you why? I’m so confused..
ive been putting in 50-60 hours a week, working 3-4 different positions, and I have completed every single task and project and have had zero complaints, write ups, corrective action plans, etc..
Im literally the only person in the entire admin department that has a degree and im the only one who knew how to work several of the programs we use, including their reporting software. So my education/knowledge wasn’t an issue, nor was my performance.. so im at a loss. I know a few people didn’t like my direct boss and they fired him as well. People have since told me he was the target and I was just in the way?
Anyway.. do I have any rights here? Or Should I just move on and count my blessings?
