The top 1% of the USA has enough wealth to pay every other citizen 1 million dollars and still be richer

They have a combined 36.2 TRILLION dollars. The population of the USA is roughly 332 million people (rounded up). That comes to around 1 million 90 thousand dollars per person. They'd still be almost 100K richer than you. I get this is wealth and not liquid money, but when considering the amount of debt the average citizen has it makes it worse. When you have more debt than assets, your wealth is actually negative.
