I’m working at a daycare right now making 13 an hour with no benefits. I’ve been offered a better job that pays 20 an hour with benefits and the ability to go back to college for free. It’s a no brainer that I need to take this new position. I have been very unhappy and overworked in my current position because we are understaffed and the director won’t hire someone new. I know I’ll be treated even more poorly after handing in my 2 weeks notice so Ive been putting it off… A big part of me wants to send an email saying I resign immediately and simply never go back. Is that the wrong thing to do? Do I owe it to them to give them a two weeks notice?
