My daughter (16F) started working at Wendy's on 10/17. They didn't have her scheduled again until 11/4, 11/5, and 11/6 which she worked (20 hours total). She was supposed to get her check for the 17th on 11/7. She still has not received said check, they haven't had her scheduled since the 6th, and no one seems to know what's going on.
We've tried to contact the manager for the past 9 days, and only yesterday was I able to get in touch with him. He had no idea what hours she even worked, despite being the one that scheduled her. He also said she won't get her check until the beginning of December, and that he would call me back to give me a schedule for her. He has not contacted me back.
I asked my kid if they had her fill out any paperwork, and she said they didn't. No onboarding paperwork and no tax forms. Nothing. I have a call in to their corporate office, but if they give me a hard time on cutting her a check, I'm not sure what to do or where to go from there. We're in Illinois if that matters.
