Starbucks Manager telling people who’s going to get fired, is it legal?

So someone I know works at Starbucks and has had a generally negative experience overall, but has gotten worse more recently. The manager recently told a shift lead that they were going to fire an employee and said the employees name, which quickly spread to the entire staff. From what I know, they didn’t mention a reason for their termination, and they still work there but they know what’s up and the manager isn’t responding to their texts. This location is in Oklahoma, is it legal for a manager to tell other employees that they are going to fire someone?
